Technical Committee for
Paper Making (PMAK)

General Information

This technical committee deals with paper production from stock preparation up until the shipment, including the following focuses:

technical equipment of the production process with machines and plants;
automation and rationalisation of the production process;
technological combinations of processes and equipment and their optimisation;
new technologies in the production process taking into consideration development trends of vendors and purchasers;
in-house logistics.

It works in close cooperation with the technical committees for

mechanical pulping
plant engineering and energy
environmental issues
coating of paper and board
recovered paper utilization
