Technical Committee for
Paper and board converting (CONV)

General Information

This technical committee deals with

questions of the production and use of coated, laminated, impregnated papers and cardboards that are mainly used as packaging material.

For the purpose of this technical committee, converted papers include waxed papers and paper/aluminium composite materials. Thin coats are also dealt with, if they do not just serve the purpose of print improvement.

The committee works in close cooperation with the technical committee for coating of paper and board.
