Technical Committee for
Pulp and paper testing (TEST) General Information
The technical committee deals with
Procedures for physical testing of mechanical pulp, chemical pulp, fillers and pigments, paper, carton and cardboard. The measuring methods are subject to critical testing using cooperative tests.
The chemical and chemical-technological testing of chemical pulp, paper and process materials for paper production.
The preparation of ZELLCHEMING leaflets or their updating with regard to the mentioned processes, unless they are subject to other standards.
Seminars as further education at the interface between pulp and paper technology as well as the testing of fibrous materials, fillers and paper, including paper physics.
The work regarding the standards concentrates on those fields that are not or only inadequately covered by DIN, CEN and ISO. The focus is on:
testing of mechanical pulp
testing of fillers and pigments
testing of sanitary papers
testing of printing papers
online sensor technology

ISO (ISO/TC 6 „Papier [Paper]“, SC 5 „Prüfverfahren mit Gütebestimmung für Zellstoff [Test Procedure with Quality Assessment for Chemical Pulp]”).
