Technical Committee for
Plant engineering and energy (ENEN)

General Information

This technical committee deals with engineering technical matters of a paper-mill which are mainly:

provision of auxiliary services for paper production like energy supply and water supply, industrial trucks etc

planning and maintenance of machines and plants for half-stock production, paper production and further processing of paper and of auxiliary plants

questions of official licences, e.g. procedure according to BImSchG [Federal Law on Pollution Control].


It has the following three sub-committees:

noise;
energy;
process control engineering.


It works in close cooperation with the technical committees for

health and safety
environmental issues
