Technical committees

The members of the individual technical committees come from the most different companies in the European paper industry – even companies that are in direct competition with each other – and mostly work in senior positions in production, technology or engineering. Furthermore, scientists from technical universities, technical colleges and industry institutes are members.

The sphere of activity of the 15 technical committees existing at the moment covers the entire chain of paper production, and their activities are thus the pillar of the work of the association. The technical committees are to be regarded as panels for the exchange of experiences, but especially as work groups that solve common tasks or formulate and forward development subjects to research institutes.

The abbreviations in brackets are derived from the English names of the individual technical committees.
