Guidelines for Lectures

  • The final date for submitting the summary of your lecture, in English language, for reproduction by ZELLCHEMING as "author's papers", is 15th March. (ca. 250 words or 15 lines, subject, targets, results, in German and English, together with author's name, complete title, on diskette or as e-mail and in hardcopy form).
  • The final date for submitting the manuscript of your lecture for the discussion chairman is 31st May.
All lectures given at the Annual General Meeting will be published on a CD-ROM supplied with the magazine ipw – Das Papier. The lectures are intended to be printed in ipw – Das Papier as well. If the space reserved in the magazine for scientific technical articles is insufficient for the full-length versions, versions no longer than 4 magazine pages will be published together with references to the full-length versions on CD-ROM.
Therefore please prepare a version not exceeding 4 magazine pages (e.g. ca. 15000 keystrokes including spaces and 7 standard-size illustrations; for purpose of comparison, see 4 pages of "ipw - Das Papier").The full-length version and the shorter version must be submitted together by 30th July. We draw your attention to the enclosed Guidelines for Publication in "ipw - Das Papier".
  • Your are allotted a total of 25 minutes for your presentation. For reasons of fairness towards the other lecturers, this time may not be exceeded.
Any illustrations accompanying your text can be presented as slides, overhead films or with the aid of a computer projector. Please ensure sufficient contrast by using strong colours as well as suitable line thickness and character size.
(See attached annex “Information for the Preparation of Slides and Transparency Films”).
